Looking at the tabloids and listening to the news can be downright depressing at times and it is easy to get caught up in the daily grind of worry about what is going on in our society and behind the scenes in our governments. One could worry themselves sick and even non-functioning if they allow themselves to be carried away into this web. And now with the recent news of actor Robin Williams taking his own life, the world seems to be in mourning. It is sad because of his passing and even more sad that he felt that shortening his life was the answer to the emptiness he felt in his soul. What a tragedy for in his sadness, he made others happy and laugh. My heart goes out to his family and everyone that is affected by this loss.
Because I am truly empathetic to this incident that has taken place, I feel to say, wake up world and smell the fresh air called life that you breathe through your nostrils. Take notice of who you are and what you are capable of. Listen to the birds chirp in the morning singing that a new day has dawned. Put off the chains that drag you down and say to you, “There is nothing to live for.” You are bound because your vision is clouded with the shortsightedness and despair of not seeing what’s in front of you. The possibilities are endless and waiting to be plucked and used for whatever you desire to create. You are not alone. No one is alone. Reach out, call out… Yell if you have to for someone to hear and know you are hurting and need help. You are worth it and living is the answer.
From someone that has been in this depth of emptiness thousands of times and felt that there was no other option or reason to live, I declare to you, THERE IS ANOTHER WAY. There is help. There are people that care and want to help. Take my hand and join me in continuing the circle of life and all it has to offer. Let me help you. Let someone help you. It’s your life. Choose to live it!
I would so much love to hear your comments because I care about what you are feeling. Please reach out and share. Someone else might need to hear what you have to say and may choose to live because you say it. ~Leslie E. Rogers
